2. CIVIC NEIGHBORHOOD CONCEPTUAL MASTER PLANNING UPDATE:

In support of the City's ONE Gresham Initiative which encapsulates strategies for development within our 3 core commercial centers (Downtown, Civic neighborhood and Rockwood), coupled with the future East County Library project finalizing its design, staff initiated a conceptual Master Planning Study for the Civic Neighborhood. With special emphasis on opportunity sites in the Northeast portion of the district, the City partnered with GBD Architects to conduct outreach with the neighborhood property owners and facilities two charette sessions as an iterative process to inform the conceptual future of the neighborhood. Staff will be presenting a summary of this body of work and seeking Council feedback as to next steps. Urban Design and Planning is the lead department.
