Budget Orientation & Background  Description:  Staff will utilize this time ahead of the annual budget committee meetings to provide a foundational orientation and common understanding of the City’s budget process.  More specifically in this presentation, staff will cover the following topic areas: * Highlights of Oregon Budget Law * Role of Budget Committee * Role of Council * Basic Budget Information * Structure of the City’s Budget * Overview of the City’s Budget Document and related information * Review of Recent Budget Status/Decisions   Consistent with Oregon Budget Law, staff will not be covering anything related to content of the upcoming proposed budget for fiscal year 2021-22.   120
