3. CLIMATE-FRIENDLY AND EQUITABLE COMMUNITIES RULES (CFEC LITIGATION) APPROVAL OF INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT OF JOINT LITIGATION OF CLIMATE FRIENDLY AND EQUITABLE COMMUNITIES RULES (IGA)

This item will approve the IGA and the retention of special legal counsel Dave O. Bechtold, attorney with Northwest Resource Law PLLC to petition the Court of Appeals for legal review of the LCDC Climate-Friendly and Equitable Communities Land Use and Transportation Planning Rules (CFEC Rules) on behalf of the City; authorize the City Attorney to execute the IGA and approve all amendments and ancillary agreements thereto. City Attorney's Office is the lead department.
